APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Photo shows lures that have been customized, small sample
size sheets of the various colors,
Krylon Crystal Clear Glaze for permanent applications, krylon paint for
painting lures using the shapes
as stencils, and hobby knifes. Note: Lures have "hook Bonnets" covering
the hooks for safe handling. |
Procedure
1.
Select desired colors.
2.
Pick shapes best suited for the style lure and
presentation.
Example: Top, sides, throat, gills, eyes, etc.
3.
With tip of knife remove shape from color sheet backing paper.
(Or "crack and peal" the
shape lifting it from the backing paper).
4.
Lightly stick the piece into place.
Note: Hooks are extremely sharp! See "How can I keep from hooking
myself when I'm applying the shapes?"

5.
Push the color down with fingers to
adhere shape to lure.
6.
Add additional colors/shapes as desired.
7.
For more permanence seal with clear coat such as Krylon Triple Thick Glaze
8.
Have fun!!! And remember to take a kid
fishing.
Note:
Lures not coated with clear may be
fished for
extended periods of time although they are not considered
permanent.
Note:
Repositioning is possible
by carefully lifting the shape
with the knife point .
To modify color shape trim with hobby knife.
Be creative.
The fish will appreciate it.
